Pool chlorination consumable · 3″ stabilized trichlor tabs · stocked in bulk bucket · loaded into the Hayward inline feeder
Doheny's chlorinating tablets bucket on the pool equipment pad — large white plastic bucket with a blue and yellow Doheny's label reading 'From our family to yours · Chlorinating Tabs'. The bucket is the bulk-size storage container for the trichlor tablets that get loaded into the Hayward inline feeder.

Safety — chemical compatibility. Trichlor releases chlorine gas if it gets wet and mixes with cal-hypo, dichlor, peroxide, ammonia, or other oxidizers. Never store these in the same room or vehicle. Never load anything other than trichlor tabs into the Hayward inline feeder — the sealed canister + flow on top of mixed chemistry is the classic chlorinator-explosion pattern.
