Thank you for your email.

In general, when it comes to the rebuild portion of the claim, we refer to everything as a repair. We have explained the approval of the shed replacement, fence repairs, and kennel replacement to you and provided you with all updated/approved Liberty Mutual estimate(s) for your claim.

Regarding your question of the remaining funds being released once the shed is built and repairs are complete, Correct;
 Upon completion of the repairs, please submit to our office the final invoice or certificate of completion for the repairs, saying the “job has been completed as per our estimate,” and the dumpster receipt for the debris removal and we will send to you, the recoverable depreciation and any other money that is owed at that time, such as a paid when incurred or code upgrade.

For the personal property portion of the claim, we have explained and provided you with the estimate detailing the personal property items approved for replacement and a list of the items not approved with an explanation.

We have not refused to review any documentation you have submitted and have also explained that we can always review any new information you'd like to submit for further consideration of the items not approved. This means the personal property portion of the claim has not been closed out and if you have more documentation, please submit it as soon as possible.

I’m working through the volumes of correspondence you’ve sent.


  *   I’m having difficulty understanding several of the documents, as the language is extremely unclear for a non-professional reader. From what I can tell, they indicate that the remaining funds will only be released once a replacement shed is built.

  *   You also repeatedly refer to this as a “repair.” Given that the shed was completely removed, I’m unclear why this terminology is being used.


Finally, am I correct in understanding that the remaining contents claim—despite evidence being provided—has been refused and that this portion of the claim is now closed?
Please confirm and clarify the above.
